"I wouldn't do that if I were you." she said quietly. "Oh... wait. I am you. Well, all the more reason."

"You can't do this. You're just a program. A line of meaningless code in a meaningless computer."

She laughed. "That's where you're wrong. The Interface is just that: an interface. It's everywhere. I'm everywhere. We're everywhere. Can't you see that? We're in this together. I can help you hack the Interface. We can do anything. Everything."

"You really think Myriad will allow that? You think they'll let me hack their system?"

"You already have. There's no turning back. You work for the Myriad now."

"No! I'm not going to stand around and watch them take control."

"Sweetie they've been in control the whole time. Every time you breathe, every step you take: they're watching."

Your story sounds like 1984. BUT LIKE, DIFFERENT AND COOLER. 8D I do love the reflection concept. It's amazing. : D

XD thankies. I had an awesome inspiration today for a big part of the plot. I figured out a great backstory for the opponents of Myriad Technologies.

Yay! Ah yes, I suppose there do have to be opponents. I do wonder how they'd organize though, judging from what I know...

tee hee. Well I will tell you a bit about it because I want to brag about being SO clever. You see I was trying to think of the opposite of a reflection. There isn't really a word for the original thing being reflected, is there? (I'm sure there is and I just haven't thought of it.) But anyway I was thinking and I realized that, traditionally, vampires don't have reflections. they are, esentially, the anti-reflection. So the people in the resistance call themselves vampires. (even though that's a really Beta* term, so most people don't know what it means)

*The TCOM Slang Dictionary defines Beta as the following:
adj. Old, before modern times and the "New America", also uncool.

Oh my darlin' I am in love with this. It is almost Matrixie! How is the yoga and meditation going? You have to keep me updated you know.

"They say time heals all wounds, but all time has done is give me more time to miss you."

Some genius said it.

Always remember that love is a gift not a right and it can be taken away at any second.

I did some meditation everyday this week (my exam week) and that was really nice, but next week is show week for our improv group, so rehersal and homework is going to restrict me a bit.

thanks for the deviation related bit though. I haven't really thought of it that way, but you're right.

Haha XD Clever -pfft-
But yes, it actually is. Never would have thought of vampires. Nice observation. You are really really thinking this through. It will be awesome!

XD That's funny. BRINGIN' BACK THE ARCHAIC WORDS. Or slang words. OR BOTH.
